Let the Carnival heat up your holiday

Are you going to celebrate the Lunar New Year holiday  alone in Hong Kong as a NDS(mainland student currently studying in Hong Kong)without any families or friends? Are you longing for some outdoor events to join during the festival season?

Why don’t you come over to the harbour and have some fun?

After an eight-year-break, the AIA Great European Carnival brings joy back to the seaside of Hong Kong this winter.

As the organizer has promised, this year’s carnival is even better than the last time in 2006. An incredible 1,000 tonnes of machinery in the form of rides that have been carefully selected and imported  from all over Europe are on their way to us. Many of these attractions are making their first ever appearance in Asia.

With 10 scary ‘thrill rides’, 10 or more ‘family rides’ and at least 50 ‘attractions and games’ provided, you can definitely bury yourself into the carnival atmosphere.

As the organizer puts it,”we’re expecting a whopping one million visitors over three months as the fair kicks off in December and runs until February.” As long as you realized how much effort is being pumped in to make this Carnival a massive success, you would definitely think going there is worthwhile.

To know more about the carnival, read the following article by Timeout Hong Kong, it provides all the details of where and when the European Carnival will be held, where to get a ticket and you can invite your friends to come along.
